Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd partners with a leading facilities management contractor in the UK to recruit a Multi Skilled Technician in Manchester. The role covers both planned and reactive FM maintenance services and offers long-term career progression.

You will perform scheduled maintenance on mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, diagnose faults quickly, and respond to on-site repairs while following health and safety procedures. On-call rotation is approximately every four weeks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintaining building systems across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency responses approximately once every four weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Diagnosing faults and fixing issues quickly to prevent disruptions
• Responding to urgent repairs and troubleshooting on-site problem.
• Monitoring systems using Building Management Systems (BMS) and ensuring safety procedures are followed
