Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to maintain building systems at a busy site in Manchester. You will perform scheduled maintenance on MEP systems, diagnose faults, and respond to on-site issues to minimise downtime.

The role requires on-call availability roughly every four weeks and a solid understanding of health and safety standards. The company offers healthcare access, pension schemes, and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining building systems across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency responses approx. every four weeks.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Diagnosing faults and fixing issues quickly to prevent disruptions
• Responding to urgent repairs and troubleshooting on-site problem.
• Monitoring systems using Building Management Systems (BMS) and ensuring safety procedures are followed
