Job summary
The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an Estates Maintenance Operative to join the Estates team at Slough & Langley College on a full-time basis, with travel to Windsor and Strodes campuses as required.
You will deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across buildings, grounds and learning environments, carrying out carpentry, plumbing, decorating, flooring and door repairs to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Good all-round maintenance and practical skills.
- Confidence in diagnosing faults and finding practical solutions.
- Good understanding of safe working practices.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality maintenance service to ensure buildings, grounds and learning environments are safe and well-maintained.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a broad range of trades.
- Support refurbishment and improvement projects across the College.
