Are you an experienced multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias?

Do you have experience working in an industrial environment working on maintenance of plant machinery?

We are currently looking for a multiskilled-mechanically biased maintenance engineer to join our team in Stockport.

About the Role

• Location: Stockport, SK6 2SN
• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Monday-Sunday, 06:00-18:00

What will I be doing as a multiskilled engineer?

• Leading all mechanical tasks and supporting electrical issues when required, ensuring all plant machinery meet regulatory requirements.
• Reactive breakdown resolution including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.
• Involvement in planned yearly shutdowns.
• Travelling to other sites in the area when required.
• Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development.

What are the requirements?

• NVQ level 3 in engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Previous experience with mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, mobile plant equipment, etc.
