Job Title: Shift Maintenance Engineer
Location: Leeds
Hours: 12 Hour Shifts, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (Days/Nights Rotation)
Salary: £49,000 + Benefits + OT Rate

HRGO Recruitment is on the hunt for a Shift Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in electrical and experience in mechanical maintenance for our client based in Leeds. Our client is part of a global packaging manufacturing firm, supplying to a variety of major brands. We are ideally looking for someone Multiskilled, with an electrical bias.

We are looking for individuals who are logical and real team players to ensure our client's fast paced production line goes smoothly. The ideal candidate will be experienced in FMCG / Food & Beverage Manufacturing or Distribution.

Key Responsibilities of Shift Maintenance Engineer:

• Carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment in an FMCG factory.
• Fault finding on PLC systems
• Diagnosing and fixing faults in machinery to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Collaborating with the production team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Applying your technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations while maintaining work standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Electrical qualifications (NVQ, HNC, 18 th Edition or Equivalent)
• Strong Mechanical Knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure production environment
• Experience with Injection Moulding / Blow Moulding could be beneficial.
