Job description

We are currently looking for a multiskilled engineer with a mechanical bias on behalf of our client based in Sheffield. The role will include commissioning, servicing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing machinery.

The role:

1. Commissioning, testing, installing, maintenance, and servicing
2. 60/40 mechanical/Electrical bias
3. Working overtime as and when required – occasional overnight stay
4. Work with the Engineering Team Leader to ensure spares are topped up in the allocated van for works orders
5. Report any fault finding
6. Act as a mentor for Engineering Workshop trainees, providing guidance and advice as required

Experience:

1. Experienced Maintenance Engineer
2. Worked with manufacturing machinery
3. Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification or minimum of 3 years' experience on the job
4. Strong Communication Skills
5. Proactive approach essential
6. Good planning and prioritising skills
7. Good Customer Service skills are essential
8. Good IT Skills are essential - knowledge of Microsoft NAV (Navision) and TAG would be an advantage. Outlook and Teams are used daily.
9. Good problem solving skills.
10. Full Clean Driving Licence
