Job summary

Talent Solution Partners in Brighton/Burgess Hill is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician with an electrical bias to join the engineering team across a large commercial site. The role covers electrical maintenance, with occasional travel between sites in Brighton and Burgess Hill.

You should be comfortable supporting HVAC and mechanical building services while maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate has an NVQ/C&G electrical qualification, 18th Edition, and strong fault-finding

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical qualification or equivalent
• 18th Edition wiring Regulations
• Commercial building maintenance experience
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Knowledge of M&E building services
• BMS knowledge advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional, proactive and client-facing approach

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance
• Fault-find and repair lighting, power and electrical systems
• Carry out routine testing and inspections
• Support maintenance of HVAC and mechanical plant
• Monitor plant and BMS systems
• Respond to breakdowns and building maintenance issues
• Complete maintenance records through the CAFM system
• Support contractors and specialist engineers
• Ensure all works are completed safely and compliantly

Salary: £43,700

Hours: Monday to Friday – Early, Day & Late Shifts

Call Out: 1 in 6

Position: Permanent

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Technician with an electrical bias to join the engineering team supporting a large, modern commercial environment in Brighton, with occasional travel to a site in Burgess Hill.

This is ideal for a qualified Electrical Engineer with strong commercial maintenance experience who is also comfortable supporting general mechanical and HVAC building services.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance
• Fault-find and repair lighting, power and electrical systems
