Job summary

Mitie Group plc. seeks a reliable Electrical Maintenance Operative to support installation, maintenance and repair tasks across hospital sites. You will work independently and with the Estates team to deliver planned and remedial works safely and on time, following NHS and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant and controls.
• Able to read and follow technical drawings and procedures.
• Self-motivated, well-organised and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults on electrical installations and plant.
• Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting and standby power.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Carry out electrical testing and inspections per current regulations.
• Support installation works and commissioning of systems.
• Document results, certifications and maintenance activities.
