Job summary

Empro Consultants in Birmingham are seeking a Multiskilled Electrical Engineer to join our facilities management team in Birmingham City Centre. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works on building equipment and systems, undertake small installations and respond to engineering emergencies.

The role requires a recognised electrical qualification, C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations and C&G Test and Inspection, with knowledge of BS standards and health and

Qualifications

• Must have robust safety awareness and responsible electrical maintenance practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform reactive repairs and coordinate with sub-contractors when required.
• Complete PPM maintenance and report defects.
• Update site equipment status and logs accurately.
• Monitor sub-contractor performance and ensure quality of work.
• Sign off tasks via PDA in a timely manner.
• Maintain good relationships with client representatives.
• Ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
• Record paperwork accurately and maintain logs.
• Participate in call-out rota if applicable.
