Job summary

Build Recruitment seeks a Multi-Skilled Carpenter & Maintenance Operative for a social housing contract in South Derbyshire. You will carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on tenanted properties, focusing on doors, cupboards, skirting, architrave, and general carpentry duties.

City & Guilds/NVQ in Carpentry is required, with experience in wood repairs. A multi-skilled background is preferred for a flexible, on-site role with potential for extension.

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Carpenter to work on a social housing contract based in South Derbyshire.

Requirements

• City & Guilds or NVQ in Carpentry/Wood Occupations
• Experience in wood repairs and maintenance within occupied (tenanted) properties
• Multi-skilled experience preferred

• Kitchen cupboard repairs and fitting
• Skirting board installation and repairs
• Architrave fitting and repairs
• General carpentry maintenance in tenanted properties

Benefits

• £20.27 per hour – Umbrella CIS or PAYE
• Van, tools and fuel card provided
• Start date: Approximately 2 weeks
• Contract until the end of October, with a strong possibility of extension
