Job summary

Drive Recruiting is assisting our client in Cirencester to recruit a Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician to join a highly skilled, well-established team.

The role covers body repairs, diagnosis and following job cards under the Bodyshop Manager’s instructions. A minimum of 1 year MET experience, City & Guilds Level 3 in Automotive Bodyshop Repair, andOwn tools are required; a UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year MET bodyshop experience.
• Full UK driver’s license.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Meet deadlines and targets.
• Own tools required.
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Automotive Bodyshop Repair.
• Ata qualification would be an advantage.
• Current or recent Bodyshop MET experience preferred.
• Rebuilding bodywork on damaged vehicles in a bonus bodyshop.

Job description

Our client is looking for a Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician to join their highly skilled and well established team in Cirencester!

Minimum of 2 years' of Paint Spraying, Panel beating and or MET Strip and Fit experience is required for this role!

Description

Multiskilled Bodyshop Technicians are responsible for helping with all aspects of vehicle body repair. Bodyshop Technicians are responsible for carrying out repairs to damaged vehicles, conducting diagnosis and following relevant instructions on the job cards issued or as instructed by the Bodyshop Manager.

What we are offering

• Full time/Permanent.
• Monday - Friday
• 42.5 hours per week (Can be flexible if needed)
• Basic salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Qualifications/Requirements

• Current or very recent Bodyshop experience as an MET Technician of at least 1 year
• Full UK driver's license
• Be able to work in a team and independently if needed
• Achieve deadlines and targets that are set out.
• You'll need your own tools
• City & Guild Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair
• ATA Qualification would be an advantage
• Previous Bodyshop MET experience is essential
• Rebuilding bodywork on damaged vehicles in a bonus bodyshop
