Job summary

Ver tas is seeking a Mobile Assistant Cook to support catering operations across Newark and Hucknall. You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals while upholding high standards of food safety and customer service in a 20-hour weekly role, across multiple sites.

The role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to travel between sites as needed, with opportunities to work with a dedicated kitchen team in busy environments.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with menu requirements.
• Assisting kitchen teams across multiple locations.
• Serving food and providing excellent customer service.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Assisting with stock control, deliveries and food storage.
• Following Health and Safety and food safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting Head of Kitchen colleagues with day to day kitchen operations.
