Job summary

Mail Metrics group. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable site operations across a UK network.

The role involves mobile work between two sites, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance with focus on electrical/mechanical systems and documentation accuracy. You will be a time-served Electrician with 18th Edition, holding a Level 3 electrical qualification and a full UK driving licence, working across Leicester and Huddersfield regions with

Qualifications

• Qualified, time-served Electrician with Level 3 electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in commercial facilities/building services maintenance.
• Experience undertaking both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Electrical/mechanical PPMs and reactive maintenance.
• Complete all CAFM documentation for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works.
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for tasks to ensure safe working practices.
• Supervise and liaise with subcontractors and client representatives.
• Maintain a Safe and Healthy working environment with PPE compliance.
• Keep up-to-date plant logs at all times.
• Monitor subcontractors’ maintenance activities on site.
• Adhere to KPIs and SLAs.
• Maintain the CAFM system and close tickets with data.
• Operate Permit to Work within SHEQ/client requirements.
• Undertake other reactive tasks as directed by Facilities management.
• Provide engineering support in emergencies to ensure continuity.
