Job summary

City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for Leith Academy to lead cleaning teams across multiple sites, assign tasks, and resolve arising issues while upholding the SLA and safety standards.

Role includes audits, stock control, and reporting faults, with opportunities for development within Facilities Management and flexible hours to accommodate commitments. PVG checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites.
• Allocate routine/general tasks to cleaning operatives.
• Deal with matters arising and elevate concerns as needed.
• Ensure cleaning in accordance with the Service Level Agreement and safety standards.
• PVG Scheme/pre-employment background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning teams across multiple sites and allocate tasks.
• Ensure cleaning is performed to SLA and safety standards.
• Carry out routine audits and report faults or issues.
• Maintain stock control and order supplies as needed.
• Contribute to training and development within Facilities Management.
