Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for Leith Academy to lead cleaning teams across multiple sites and ensure standards are met. You will allocate tasks, address issues with the Locality Hub Team Leader, perform routine audits, report faults, and manage stock and equipment, while complying with safety and PVG requirements.

• Full clean driving licence desirable but not essential.
• PVG Scheme membership or update check is required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning teams across multiple sites.
• Allocate routine/general tasks to cleaning operatives.
• Elevate concerns and report unresolved issues to Locality Hub Team Leader.
• Ensure cleaning is carried out as per Service Level Agreement and SAFETY standards.
• Carry out routine audits and site inspections; report machinery faults.
• Maintain stock control and orders.
