Job summary

Fusion Energy Base is seeking a highly experienced Multiphysics Modeling Engineer to drive advanced multiphysics simulations for fusion energy systems. This role involves establishing strategies for MOOSE-based simulations, focusing on key components of the Infinity Two stellarator power plant. You will work with cross-functional teams and ensure high-quality modeling practices.

The ideal candidate should hold a PhD in a relevant field, possess strong skills in multiphysics simulation, and have deep experience with the MOOSE framework. A hybrid work policy and competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent experience in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or Computer Science.
  • Proven track record in multiphysics simulation and computational modeling.
  • Deep experience with the MOOSE framework.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a roadmap for MOOSE-based modelling.
  • Lead the development of tightly coupled multiphysics models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated modelling approaches.
