Job summary

Netholabs in London, UK is seeking a Human Data Collection Lead to own the quality and integrity of multimodal neural data collected during real-world tasks, including motion tracking, eye tracking, camera arrays, and EEG.

This hands-on role starts with setting up rigs, aligning devices in time and space, and ensuring data cleanliness before scaling the participant pipeline. You will work with world-class neuroscientists and engineers, and travel occasionally to stand up new collection sites.

Qualifications

  • Background in neuroscience or related field with hands-on neurophysiological data collection and clean data handling.
  • Ability to set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot recording hardware.
  • Exceptional organisation and meticulous documentation practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with participants and colleagues.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where you define process.
  • Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate multimodal recording rigs (motion tracking, eye tracking, camera arrays, neural sensors).
  • Own temporal synchronization and spatial calibration across devices to align data streams.
  • Run recording sessions spanning manipulation tasks and computer use with neural data collected.
  • Apply neuroimaging best practices: sensor placement, impedance checks, artefact and noise reduction.
  • Verify each session is complete, logged, and meets quality standards before handing to research team.
  • Obtain informed consent and handle participant data under UK GDPR; maintain versioned SOPs as protocols evolve.
  • Build and manage participant panel, recruitment, screening, scheduling; drive retention.
  • Stand up new collection sites internationally and ensure protocols and data handling are consistent across sites.
