Job summary

Dals is seeking freelance interpreters fluent in English and multiple languages to support police, court, and legal assignments across Merseyside. You decide your hours and the assignments you accept, providing flexible freelance work and access to training resources.

Applicants should have fluency in English and at least one listed language, strong communication skills, and the right to work in the UK. DPSI Law and related qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interpret between English and target language during justice sector assignments in police, legal, court, and public service settings.
• Deliver accurate, impartial, and confidential interpretation.
• Maintain high professional and ethical standards.
• Manage availability and assignments through our interpreter platform.
• Help individuals access essential services and legal support.
