Job summary

Dals is seeking qualified interpreters fluent in Urdu, Kurdish Kurmanji, Romanian, Tagalog (Filipino), Mandarin, Pashtu, Polish, Albanian, Amharic, Arabic, Arabic (Sudanese/Moroccan/Tunisian/Algerian/Libyan) and Aramaic to support police, court and legal assignments across Lancashire.

As a self-employed interpreter, you decide your working hours and the assignments you accept, giving you complete flexibility to work around other commitments while helping people access essential services and

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and at least one listed language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking professional interpreters who have:

• Fluency in English and at least one of the listed languages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The right to work in the UK

Plus One or More of the Following:

• DPSI Law (Full)
• Diploma in Community Interpreting – Police & Court Pathway
• DPI
• Met Police Test
