Job summary

Dals is seeking qualified interpreters fluent in Urdu, Kurdish Kurmanji, Romanian, Tagalog (Filipino), Mandarin, Pashtu, Polish, Albanian, Amharic, Arabic, Arabic (Sudanese/Moroccan/Tunisian/Algerian/Libyan) and Aramaic to support police, court and legal assignments across Lancashire.

As a self-employed interpreter, you decide your working hours and the assignments you accept, giving you complete flexibility to work around other commitments while helping people access essential services and

Qualifications

Fluency in English and at least one listed language.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Interpret between English and target language during justice sector assignments.
Support communication in police, legal, court and public service settings.
Deliver accurate, impartial and confidential interpretation.
Maintain high professional and ethical standards.
Manage availability and assignments through our interpreter platform.
Help individuals access essential services and legal support.
