Job summary

A well-established food wholesaler in Brighton is seeking a driver to deliver pre-packed orders to restaurants, hotels, bakeries, delis and more. You will handle multi-drop deliveries with varying routes, keeping routes efficient and professional.

Hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00am, with holiday accrual and weekly pay via Driver Hire. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers a pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries efficiently and within the required timeframes
• Ensure goods are delivered safely and securely
• Take goods into customer premises and obtain signatures for deliveries
• Complete supplier collections as required
• Carry out daily vehicle checks
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe and roadworthy & report any vehicle defects or issues promptly
• Maintain a polite and professional manner when dealing with customers

Job description

The Role

You will be working for a well-established food wholesaler, delivering pre-packed orders to a range of customers including:

• Restaurants
• Hotels
• Bakeries
• Delis
• Other food businesses

The role involves multi-drop deliveries, with routes varying from day to day. Some routes may involve around 10-15 deliveries across a wider geographical area, while others may cover more local/city routes with 30+ deliveries.

We are therefore looking for drivers who are comfortable working with both types of routes and who can manage their time effectively throughout the day.

£13.00 per hour PAYE

Monday to Friday

7:00am start - finish

Holiday acrual with every shift

Weekly pay while working through Driver Hire

Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate

Main Duties

Complete deliveries efficiently and within the required timeframes
