Job summary

Condor Carriers in Leyland is looking for drivers to join their veteran-owned delivery team. The role offers flexible work patterns with full-time and part-time shifts available. Drivers will be provided with modern, fully insured vehicles and will have all expenses like fuel, insurance, and maintenance covered.

Additionally, there are regular bonuses and incentives, and full training with ongoing support is provided. Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and be reliable team players.

Qualifications

• Full UK, EU or International driving licence (maximum 6 points).
• Minimum 1 year driving experience on a UK licence.
• Must be over 20 years old (insurance requirement).
• Able to pass a basic DBS check.

• Drive safely and complete multi-drop routes efficiently.
• Deliver parcels accurately and on time.
• Lift and handle packages safely.
• Keep vehicle clean and report any faults.

How the Role Works

• Quick start available after interview


• Self-employed position with pre-planned routes


• Full-time and part-time shifts available

Duties

• Drive safely and complete multi-drop routes efficiently


• Deliver parcels accurately and on time


• Lift and handle packages safely (some heavy items involved)


• Communicate with depot staff and customers professionally


• Keep vehicle clean and report any faults


• Follow all road laws and company safety rules

Requirements

• Reliable, positive and willing to work as part of a team


• Multi-drop experience is helpful but not essential as we provide full training.


• Drivers from DPD, Evri, DHL, Yodel, UPS, Amazon and similar backgrounds welcome.
