Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Class 2 Multidrop Driver in Rochester. The role runs on days, with a 7am start, and involves roughly 12–14 deliveries daily across similar postal zones.

This permanent position is part of a temp-to-perm setup, with a focus on safe driving, compliance, and customer service. Applicants must hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome if they show the right attitude and potential.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• ADR qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsibilities

• Complete multidrop deliveries between customer sites.
• Carry out an average of 12-14 deliveries per day within similar postcode areas.
• Operate your vehicle safely and in line with company and legal requirements.
• Use a pallet truck to unload pallets when a customer forklift operator is unavailable.
• Use handheld scanners and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance and roadworthiness.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery locations.
