Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Multi Trader to support energy-efficient and low-carbon housing upgrades across a social housing portfolio in Cambridge. You will join a reactive maintenance team focused on improving tenant comfort, energy performance, and building efficiency.

The role covers basic carpentry, damp and mould repairs, concrete slab prep for heat pump installations, and fitting window trickle vents.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in a core trade (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, etc.)
• Full UK driving licence

We’re recruiting experienced Multi Traders to support energy-efficient and low-carbon housing upgrades across a social housing portfolio. You’ll be part of a reactive maintenance and helping improve the sustainability and performance of occupied homes.

The Role:

You’ll carry out a range of maintenancedesigned to improve tenant comfort, energy efficiency, and building performance, including:

• Basic carpentry ( door undercuts )


• Damp & Mould repairs


• Concrete slabs in preparation (Heat pumps)


• Install window trickle vents

Video interviews taking place asap

Requirements:

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in a core trade (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, etc.)
