Bakers of Danbury Ltd is recruiting 2 Multi Traders for its Special Works Department. The positions are site-based, full-time, 42.5 hours per week, and focused on heritage, church, residential and listed buildings across Essex, London and surrounding counties.
The successful candidates will be skilled in carpentry, plastering and decorating, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for preservation. Driving licence and travel to project sites are required.

Established over 145 years ago, Bakers of Danbury are a privately owned Essex based heritage building contractor with an excellent reputation for conservation expertise and quality. We work across Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Kent and Hertfordshire as well as into east, north and central London.
We are looking to recruit 2 x multi traders to join our busy Special Works Department. This is an exciting and varied role which involves working on some of the finest heritage, church, residential and historical buildings in the area.
The successful applicant will have an excellent track record being skilled in all trades including carpentry, plastering and decorating finishes. An eye for detail, a keen interest in building preservation and a pride in one’s work is essential.
The Bakers of Danbury Special Works Department works on a wide variety of projects involving the restoration and repair of historical buildings, listed properties, public houses and traditional homes. We work with both commercial and residential clients.
