ARCHITECTURAL DECORATORS LTD is seeking experienced Multi-Trade Craftworkers to join their team in Greater London. The role involves working on different sites across the region, primarily engaging in carpentry, painting, and various repair tasks.

Applicants must possess a valid driving license and experience in the building maintenance sector. The position offers a structured working schedule with a total of 21 holiday days annually plus bank holidays, ensuring a supportive work environment.

Job description

Since 1944 AD Construction Group has established itself as a well-regarded refurbishment contractor providing building maintenance services within the public sector, predominantly to local authority housing associations. Working as a close-knit team the organisation has successfully proven time and time again its ability to be a serious competitor in the construction industry.

This company carries out a complete range of decorating, building and repair work. They are looking to recruit experienced Multi-Trade Craftworkers who will be working on various contracts across London.

Travelling will play a major part in the role as the job will involve covering many different sites in and around South East including Blackwall Tunnel, East London and South London, therefore driving is a must.

They are looking for Operatives with experience in:

• Predominantly carpentry
• Window care/repair
• Render repairs
• Brick / concrete repairs
• Plastering
• Painting and decorating
• Pointing
• Valid, full driving licence
• The ability to work under their own initiative and to the specification of works/contract instructions
• The ability to record all repairs effectively
• Good communications skills
• Previous experience in a similar role

Package

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch)
• Holidays: 21 days of holiday + bank holidays + birthday day off. Christmas closure.

Additional Information

• Nine-month probationary period
• Eligible to work in the UK
• DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the company’s expense
