Job summary

VIVID is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative for our Repairs Team in South Hampshire, based in Portsmouth. You’ll perform a variety of repairs across occupied properties, using your trade skills to complete tasks right first time.

You’ll work a 39-hour week with flexible patterns and contribute to an emergency call-out rota. The role requires City & Guilds NVQ level 2/3 (or equivalent) and proven multi-trade experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in a trade.
• Proven experience in a multi-trade or general maintenance role.
• Competent in at least two core trades (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, plastering, painting).

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-trade tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating.
• Use handheld devices to manage job tickets and update progress.
• Maintain van stock, tools and materials.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and building regulations.
• Attend emergency call-out rota when required.
• Work in occupied properties with professionalism.
