Job summary

Sanctuary Group is recruiting for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our planned works team, delivering reinvestment projects in customers' homes and occasional day-to-day repairs across our housing stock. You will perform plumbing and carpentry tasks, install kitchens and bathrooms, and ensure tools are well maintained while upholding safety, quality, and excellent customer service.

The role is 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, with 25 days leave (up to 30), a pension, Life Assurance, health support,

Qualifications

• CDM 2015 qualification or currently undertaking; NVQ Level 2 in carpentry/electrical.
• Plumbing Level 3, Unvented G3 Certificate and WRAS required.
• Bring original certifications to interview; copies/CSCS not accepted.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation.
• Ability to work across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing).

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications.
• Instillation of new kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, windows, doors and fencing.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocking when needed.
• Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns, informing customers of progress.
• Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works.
