Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is seeking skilled Multi-Trade Operatives to join a nationwide on-the-road team. This self-employed role offers guaranteed 5 shifts per week with consistent work across the retail and hospitality refurbishments; a company van is provided after probation and hotel accommodation is available when required.

You will perform carpentry, tiling, decorating and general maintenance across the UK, with night shifts Monday to Friday and occasional days or weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years.
• Own basic hand and power tools.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
• CIS self-employed status; UTR number.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and refurbishment across the UK.
• Work primarily on night shifts, with some day shifts and weekend work.
• Complete multiple trade disciplines to a high standard.

This is a self-employed position with guaranteed 5 shifts per week, offering consistent work, excellent earning potential, and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects nationwide.

About the RoleAs a Multi-Trade Operative, you will work across the UK carrying out planned maintenance, repairs and refurbishment projects for major national clients. The role is primarily on the road, with regular travel and occasional stays away from home during the working week.

The majority of work is completed during night shifts Monday to Friday, although some day shifts and occasional weekend work may be required.
