Job summary

Abri is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative with carpentry expertise to join our Responsive Repairs team in the Bracknell area. You will cover Bracknell, Reading, Windsor, Slough, High Wycombe, Oxford, Abingdon and Newbury, delivering timely repairs and installations with a customer-first approach.

You will handle carpentry maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform additional relevant tasks using your multi-skilled abilities.

• Ability to diagnose and repair a range of building maintenance tasks.
• Strong communication to keep customers informed and reassured.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of carpentry repairs and maintenance across our homes, including plumbing and general multi-trade tasks.
• Work both inside and outside, including homes, communal areas, fencing and groundworks.
• Plan each day effectively and complete jobs to a high standard with customer satisfaction in mind.
• Keep customers and colleagues informed and supported throughout the job.

Our Responsive Repairs team plays a vital role in keeping homes safe, secure, and well maintained and we’re looking for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative with a high skill level as a Carpenter, where you'll be reporting into the Bracknell office covering Bracknell, Reading, Windsor, Slough, High Wycombe, Oxford, Abingdon and Newbury.

About the role

You'll be responsible for the delivery of carpentry maintenance repairs/installations, as well as being capable of additional types of work with your skill set. You’ll use your multi-skilled expertise to diagnose, repair and improve homes - always aiming to get things right first time.

You’ll be the friendly face of Abri, keeping customers informed, reassured and confident in the service they receive.

• You’ll carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance across our homes, from carpentry and plumbing to general multi-trade work
• Working both inside and out, including homes, communal areas, fencing and groundworks
• Planning your day effectively and seeing each job through to a great standard, with customer satisfaction at the heart of what you do
• Keeping in touch with customers and colleagues so everyone feels informed and supported
