Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a Multi Trade Operative to refurbish kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms in residential properties across Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud. You will perform carpentry and related trades, delivering high-quality workmanship with a strong customer-service focus.

The role requires NVQ2 in a core trade, experience in domestic settings, and a valid UK driving licence. A 39-hour week with benefits and career development opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 in a core trade.
• Experience as a Multi Trade, ideally domestic, fitting kitchens or bathrooms.
• Good health and safety awareness.
• Full UK Driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Fit kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms; undertake carpentry and minor plumbing/tiling.
• Maintain professional standards and high customer service in homeowners' settings, including vulnerable environments.
• Work solo or as part of a trade team to achieve targets.

We're looking for a Multi Trade Operative to join us to work on Bathroom, Wet room and Kitchen refurbishments in our client's residential properties in the Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud areas.

The Multi Trade Operative role:

• You’ll be fitting kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms, undertaking carpentry and other minor works in plumbing and tiling
• You’ll need the ability to work professionally and demonstrate excellent customer service skills within people’s homes, including vulnerable settings
• Working individually and sometimes as part of a trade team whilst always working to complete targets.

What will you bring as a Multi Trade Operative:

• Qualified to an NVQ 2 level in a core trade
• Previous experience as a Multi Trade undertaking first and second fix installation works, preferably in the domestic setting, fitting kitchens or bathrooms
• A proficient level of health and safety awareness.
• Motivated in your approach to work - and able to work to individual and team output targets
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Multi Trade Joiner role.
