Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking a skilled trades operative to deliver responsive repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of homes in the UK. The role emphasizes safe, high-quality workmanship and efficient use of digital PDA systems to track job information.

You will perform plastering, plumbing and basic carpentry, with an emphasis on tenanted properties and customer service. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with relevant NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 plastering is required.
• Experience in plumbing and carpentry is desirable.
• Experience working in tenanted properties.
• High attention to safety and quality workmanship.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs to a high standard.
• Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations (desirable).
• Complete carpentry works including repairs and basic joinery (desirable).
• Support a wide range of general property maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and deliver lasting repairs.
• Work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Ensure all works meet safety, quality and customer service standards.
• Use PDA systems to receive and complete job information.
