Job summary

Elizabeth College Guernsey is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join the Maintenance Team from October 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. The role requires personable and technically capable candidates with proficiency across trades including carpentry, painting, plastering and plumbing, and general maintenance duties.

The position is year-round and full-time, averaging 42 hours per week under a bi-weekly Saturday morning schedule, with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience across trades such as carpentry, painting, plastering and plumbing.
• Comfortable working as part of a maintenance team.
• Willingness to develop proficiency across multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance across trades including carpentry, painting, plastering and plumbing.
• Support the Maintenance Team in day-to-day duties.
• Address general maintenance requests and tasks as they arise.
• Commit to a 42-hour week with a bi-weekly Saturday schedule (flexible where possible).
