Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative in the Barnstaple area to work on planned works projects including schools, hospitals, social housing and other council buildings. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering a salary of £34-36,000 per annum plus a company van, fuel card and 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Day-to-day duties include carrying out internal and external multi-trade tasks, carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing and decorating,

Qualifications

• Must have solid multi-trade experience across internal and external building works.
• Carpentry or masonry background is advantageous.
• Versatility across trades (decorating, minor plumbing, etc.).
• Reliable, honest, and takes pride in workmanship.
• Must hold a full UK driving license; DBS check to be completed for successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-trade duties on planned works in schools, hospitals, social housing and council buildings.
• Perform a range of trades including carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing and decorating.
• Undertake refurbishment projects and site surveys as required.
• Drive company van safely and report to supervisor.
