Karbon Homes is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our Responsive Repairs Property Services Team across the North East. This is a hands-on permanent role where you'll carry out repairs, maintenance, improvements and installations across multiple trades, delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
You will take ownership of your work, follow health and safety procedures, and work with colleagues to provide a reliable repairs service.
Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Multi Trade
We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Multi Trade Operative to join our Responsive Repairs Property Services Team.
You'll be helping us provide a reliable, high-quality repairs and maintenance service for our customers, taking a whole-job approach and aiming to get things right first time. It's a hands-on role where the quality of your work and the service you provide can make a real difference to our customers and their homes.
As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll carry out a range of repairs, maintenance, improvement and installation work across more than one trade, completing work to Karbon and recognised industry standards for quality, compliance and productivity.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing a good job and providing great customer service. You'll take ownership of your work, communicate well with customers and colleagues and work collaboratively with the wider team to provide an efficient and customer-focused repairs service.
Safe working is also a key part of the role. You'll follow relevant health and safety requirements and operational procedures, look after the vehicle, equipment and stock issued to you, and keep information and systems updated accurately. You'll also take part in our out-of-hours repairs service when required.
You'll be someone who is reliable, flexible and takes real pride in the quality of their work. Just as importantly, you'll understand that a great repairs service is about the customer experience as well as the repair itself.
To succeed in the role, you'll need to be fully competent in two or more trades, with the ability to complete the associated tasks to a high standard. You'll have completed a recognised general trade apprenticeship or qualification, or have equivalent relevant experience.
Above all, we're looking for someone who is open, collaborative and dependable, and who'll represent Karbon positively when working with our customers, colleagues and partners.
You'll be part of our Responsive Repairs team, led by Ian Ord, Operations Team Manager. If you'd like to know more about the role, feel free to reach out to Ian at Ian.Ord@karbonhomes.co.uk on 07964 892561.
