Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer in Nottingham to provide essential Planned Preventative Maintenance, breakdown response, repair and CI support for our Logistics Warehousing facilities on a 12-hour rotating shift pattern.

You will work on automated systems such as cranes, lifts, transfer cars and conveyors, ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship with a minimum Level 3 qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, plus Level 2 in the other.
• Experience in a similar electro-mechanical engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance and repairs to meet equipment availability.
• Self-management; work largely unsupervised to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering Management, Improvement Engineers, first-line fix managers, Control Room and Operational teams to maintain seamless operations.
• Raise Continuous Improvement (CI) programs to enhance equipment performance.
• Uphold world-class standards in security, health and safety, regulatory compliance and housekeeping.
• Complete shift/breakdown reports to drive ongoing improvements in our engineering services.
