Job Description:

Overview: ABL 1 Touch, a market-leading vehicle repair business since 1994, is seeking a Multi Skilled Vehicle Repair Technician to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves undertaking vehicle repairs efficiently within a controlled timeframe, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, recognize, and report vehicle structure and paintwork issues.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety standards upon completion.
• Remove, store, and dispose of vehicle components and fluids safely.
• Perform quality control and sign off on repairs.
• Identify and report faults and defects.
• Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any faults.
• Follow repair methods as per job pack and manufacturer instructions.
• Replace and repair panels, including filler work and paint application.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and apply topcoat according to specifications.
• Perform finishing tasks such as flat and polish.
• Adhere to health & safety and PAS125 standards.
• Document all components, materials, and repairs accurately.
• Protect customer vehicles during repairs.
• Complete quality checks and sign-offs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle body repair (Paint/Panel MET).
• Full UK driving license.
• Willingness to gain relevant qualifications.
• ATA qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
• Experience in bodyshop repairs.
• Team player with initiative, flexibility, and responsibility.
