Airbus invites applicants to join the Craft Tool Room Apprentice program at Broughton, North Wales. This 36‑month pathway blends hands-on machining work with academic study, preparing you to support wing tooling for Airbus aircraft families.

Year 1 is at Coleg Cambria, Wrexham, with exams for NVQ L2 and related diplomas, followed by Years 2/3 at Broughton. A structured learning hub and strong support enable career growth.

Qualifications

• GCSEs required including Maths, English and Science at specific grades.
• CV and cover letter stating motivation for role and industry.
• Passion for learning, hands-on work, teamwork and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Immersion in hands-on technical experience while completing studies.
• Work on live aircraft components in a multi-skilled Tool Room team.
• Attend day release college to gain NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot jigs, tools and machining setups.
