Job summary

Merlin Entertainments at SEA LIFE London requires a Multi-skilled Technician to maintain rides, show equipment and theming with a hands-on approach. You will perform electrical and mechanical inspections, carry out preventative maintenance, and complete work orders to uphold high quality and guest experience.

In a busy public environment, you will interact with visitors of all ages, work as part of a team, and ensure tasks are done to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Ideally with an electrical bias, you'll hold an ONC or HNC in an engineering discipline and have completed and indentured apprenticeship in either electrical or mechanical production
• Able to work under pressure in a heavily guest focused environment
• Flexible
• High personal standards, strong personal motivation, as well as the motivation to deliver the best for our business and our guests
• Must be a time served apprentice with several years of experience in a multi-skilled environment

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of show equipment, rides, theming, and the facility to ensure safe operation
• Carry out electrical and mechanical inspections and maintenance activities
• Complete planned preventative maintenance checks and tasks per work orders
• Install, repair and housekeeping works; report inspection actions to the Technical Supervisor
