Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Multi Skilled Security Officer at Sevington Inland Border Facility in Ashford, Kent. You’ll be the visible, approachable security presence, supporting visitors, contractors and staff while upholding site procedures and safety standards.

The 4-on, 4-off shift pattern provides regular blocks of time off. A valid SIA licence is desirable, and basic IT skills along with confident use of radios and reporting tools will help you thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, friendly and helpful security presence throughout your shift.
• Support clients, contractors and visitors, ensuring site procedures and security requirements are followed.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents and emergencies, keeping relevant people informed.
• Liaise with statutory authorities when required, providing clear and accurate information to support incident handling.
• Monitor site radio communications and follow the correct procedures.
• Maintain accurate site records, including incident reports, reference materials and the site occurrence book.
• Build positive working relationships with our on-site client and the wider team.
