Job description

Join to apply for the Multi-skilled Service Engineers role at Ferrier Pumps.

Due to continued expansion, we have immediate vacancies for Service Engineers to join our Service & Repair teams in Glasgow & Edinburgh.

The role will generally cover the central belt of Scotland, with occasional work outside this area. Successful candidates will work on a range of equipment, including submersible, centrifugal, progressive cavity, air operated diaphragm pumps, booster sets, pump stations, & inverters, across various sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and report concerns to line management.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance safely and efficiently, adhering to H&S legislation.
• Set up and commission new equipment.
• Inspect and fault-find on pumps and systems.

Requirements

• Experience as a service engineer.
• Qualifications in electrical/mechanical disciplines.
• Ability to fault-find in demanding environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and organize effectively.
