Tarmac is hiring a Multi Skilled Quarry Operative at Mountsorrel Quarry near Loughborough. The role drives mobile plant as part of the quarry load and haul fleet and reports to Quarry Supervisors. A strong background in industrial environments and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Industrial/Factory environment as operative or labourer.
• Proven ability to follow SHE policies and procedures.
• Willingness to develop operative and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilities.
• Follow SHE policies and procedures.
• Operate mobile/fixed plant on site.
• Assist Supervisor with meeting daily/weekly production targets.
• Ensure plant safety compliance at all times.
• Inspect plant, report defects and assist remedial action.
• Maximise plant availability.
• Maintain high standard of site housekeeping.
