Construction Resources is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to cover works across North and East London, with some tasks in South London. You will handle reactive repairs, plumbing, carpentry and general property maintenance in residential properties, supported by digital PDA systems to keep jobs flowing smoothly.

The role requires diagnosing faults, ensuring safety and quality standards, and delivering a professional, customer-focused service in occupied homes.

Qualifications

• Experience in reactive repairs and property maintenance.
• Experience working in tenanted/occupied properties.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
• Clean and valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations.

Multi Trade Operative

We are recruiting experienced and versatile Multi Trade Operatives to join our client in the Strafford area.

In this role, you ll carry out reactive repairs and general property maintenance across residential properties, helping to ensure homes are safe, comfortable and well-maintained. You ll be supported by modern digital systems designed to keep work flowing efficiently and provide you with the information you need to deliver a first-class service.

Responsibilities

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be expected to cover North and East London, with occasional work in South London.

• Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations.


• Perform carpentry duties, including repairs and basic joinery.


• Support with a broad range of general property maintenance duties.


• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs.


• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


• Ensure all work meets health and safety, quality and customer service standards.


• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when working in occupied properties.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Part P qualification desirable.


• Working knowledge and experience of plumbing.


• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.


• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.


• Experience working in tenanted/occupied properties.


• Experience using PDA or mobile job management systems.


• Additional relevant trade qualifications.


• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification as a minimum.


• Clean and valid UK driving licence.


• DBS check, or willingness to undertake
