Job summary

Wolviston Management Services are recruiting an experienced PLC Software Engineer / Multi-Skilled Automation Engineer to join an established engineering and automation team. You will develop, program, test and commission PLC/HMI control systems for bespoke machinery, working with Siemens, Omron and Mitsubishi platforms, with travel to UK and overseas sites as required.

This hands-on role blends electrical, mechanical and software skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial automation and PLC controls.
• Strong PLC programming experience with Siemens/Omron/Mitsubishi.
• Ability to fault-find electrical and mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, test and commission PLC/HMI control systems for bespoke automation equipment.
• Support electrical, mechanical and software interfaces during commissioning.
• Diagnose faults and optimise performance of automation systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and project teams to ensure project delivery.
