Job summary

Yeo Valley Organic is seeking candidates for a manufacturing operator role at our Somerset/Devon sites. You will operate a range of equipment (filling, packing, forming, CNC), ensure health and safety, and maintain high hygiene and quality standards.

The role requires willingness to work 12-hour shifts, strong teamwork, and the ability to work unsupervised while delivering accurate paperwork and GMP-compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC machines)
• Good communication skills
• Effective numeracy and literacy for documentation and record-keeping
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Personal commitment to high cleaning and hygiene standards
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts
• Highly engaged, a good team player
• Ability to work unsupervised

Responsibilities

• Embracing Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
• Packing of well-known products.
• Operating a wide variety of machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC machines);
• Completing paperwork accurately and delivering results.
• Applying current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Taking apart, cleaning and rebuilding production equipment.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
