Job summary

Smart Solutions is recruiting Recycling Operatives for a long-term role at a busy Redcar recycling facility. You will assist with day-to-day operations, sorting materials from conveyors and supporting a range of site tasks.

The role features a 4-on-4-off rotating shift with 12-hour days and nights, and forklift duties if trained, all within a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste and recycling preferred (1 year).
• Ability to work in a busy facility and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck where trained and authorised.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

4 on 4 off | 12-hour Days & Nights (Rotating Shift Pattern)

We are currently recruiting Recycling Operatives for long-term opportunities with our client based in Redcar.

This is a varied role working within a busy recycling facility, where you'll support the day-to-day operation of the site by carrying out a range of duties, including:

• Sorting recyclable materials from conveyor/sort lines
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (where trained and authorised)
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting other operational tasks as required
