Job Title: Multi Skilled Operative

As a Multi Skilled Operative working with Milton Keynes Council within our social housing sector, you will provide essential repair and refurbishment services across our property portfolio, supporting the local community with high standards of work and customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Support residents with reactive repairs and planned maintenance activities, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
2. Undertake construction, fault finding, and maintenance repairs with a focus on first-time resolution, safety, and quality standards.
3. Maintain a professional appearance and communication with customers, stakeholders, and team members, adhering to health & safety policies.
4. Utilize electronic devices (PDA) for documentation, including work sheets, photographic evidence, and stock management.
5. Maintain company assets and stock in good condition and report damages or shortages.
6. Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.

Role Criteria:

• Certified in core trades such as Carpentry, Plumbing, or Plastering.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Hold a full UK driving license.

Note: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available. To operate a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held a license for more than 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points. All roles are subject to DBS/security checks.
