Job summary

Reliable Contractors Limited is recruiting a Multiskilled Operative to work on the Blyth Power Station BAM project. The role covers construction and groundworks with concrete-related duties, supporting chargehands and other trades on site.

A CSCS/CPCS Blue Card and health and safety training are required, with a full UK driving licence. This is a full-time PAYE role with ongoing work and a 31-day holiday entitlement.

MULTISKILLED OPERATIVE - BLYTH POWER STATION, NE24 5TF - FULLTIME

A chance to work on a major infrastructure project in the UK, with long-term work available for the right candidates.

Reliable Contractors are recruiting for experienced Multiskilled Operatives to join the BAM project at Blyth Power Station. We are looking for candidates with the correct cards, tickets and experience who want stable employment and a regular income for the foreseeable future.

Assignment Details

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Payment Basis: PAYE
• Pay Rate: £19.19 per hour
• Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including bank holidays)
• Start Date: As soon as possible following successful vetting checks, medical and on-site induction
• Assignment Duration: Ongoing / until further notice
• Location: Blyth Power Station, NE22 7BL

Must Have

Health and Safety Risks

The successful candidate will be expected to promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring site rules, procedures and relevant health and safety requirements are followed.

Key risks associated with the role include:

• Moving plant and vehicles: Follow site traffic management procedures and maintain safe segregation.
• Groundworks and uneven ground: Follow site instructions and use designated access routes.
• Manual handling: Use safe lifting techniques and appropriate equipment.
• Working at height: Follow approved procedures and use suitable fall protection where required.
• Slips, trips and falls: Keep work areas and access routes safe and tidy.

All site-specific risks and control measures must be confirmed through the project RAMS, risk assessments and site induction.
