Job summary

Mears Group plc in Croydon is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to carry out a variety of property maintenance tasks across domestic void properties. You will undertake painting, plastering, carpentry, tiling, plumbing and damp/mould works, delivering high-quality repairs and installations on time.

The role requires flexibility to work 42.5 hours per week (8-5, Mon-Fri) and a UK driving licence. A permanent, full-time contract with company van and fuel card is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting, plastering, carpentry, tiling and plumbing.
• Experience in social housing environments.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out damp and mould works and minor repairs.
• Do basic tiling, plumbing, carpentry and plastering tasks.
• Mould washes and painting/decoration across void properties.
• Perform general handyperson duties as required.
• Deliver high-quality repairs and installations across domestic properties.

Multi Skilled Operative

Contract: Full Time Permanent

Salary up to £42,020.69 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card

42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday- Friday)

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team in Croydon you will be carrying out a variety of property maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, plastering, brickwork, tiling, silicone/mastic works, groundworks and minor plumbing in Void properties. The role requires a delivering high-quality repairs and installations across domestic properties.

We’re looking for someone reliable, skilled across multiple trades, and passionate about getting the job done right the first time.

Duties:

• Carrying out Damp & Mould works
• Minor repairs including basic Tiling, Plumbing, Carpentry, Plastering
• Mould washes
• Painting & decorating
• General Handyperson duties

Role Criteria:

• Experience in Painting & Decorating, Plastering minor repairs, Carpentry, tiling, Plumbing
• Experience in Social housing
• UK full driving license
• Experience in Damp and mould washes
