We deliver over 35,000 annual repairs, void refurbishments, and planned upgrades. Celtic Horizons also provides estate services for United Welsh, including gas servicing, grounds maintenance, cleaning, and facility management.
Celtic Horizons was the first wholly owned subsidiary of its kind formed by United Welsh, which has partnered with Mears Group. Celtic Horizons cares for over 6,500 properties across 11 local authority areas in South Wales.
As a Multi Skilled Operative within our Caerphilly branch, you will be responsible for kitchen and bathroom fittings within occupied social housing properties. You will be part of a local team undertaking high-standard multi-trade repairs and refurbishment activities, delivering excellent customer service while meeting safety, quality, and cost standards. The main duties include tiling, floor laying, basic plumbing, and joinery.
All roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work in the UK. Mears currently does not offer visa sponsorship.
Candidates should be aware that all roles are subject to relevant DBS/security checks before employment begins.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be over 21, have held your license for more than 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
